1. The DLMM UI Upgrade We Actually Needed | SectorOne Terminal V1
In this video, CryptoCroco tours the new DLMM Terminal V1 front end from SectorOne and Metropolis on Base — a redesigned LP interface with a large price chart, live position previews, and a Combine Position toggle for stacking. DLMM Clan is an independent DeFi liquidity-provider education community for EVM chains — distinct from Meteora, which is a DLMM protocol on Solana.
What you'll learn
- Where the SectorOne / Metropolis Terminal V1 upgrade shows up (inside a pool, not the pools list)
- The new layout: pool data on top, input fields on the right, price chart on the left
- How the chart previews your liquidity distribution live as you allocate
- Shaping spot and bid-ask positions in Advanced mode
- Using the Combine Position toggle to preview stacked positions before deploying
- Keeping ETH for gas and double-checking gas fees before confirming

Summary
DLMM Clan is an independent DeFi liquidity-provider education community for EVM chains — distinct from Meteora, which is a DLMM protocol on Solana. This lesson walks through the new DLMM Terminal V1 front end that SectorOne and Metropolis just shipped, an upgrade that only appears once you open a pool's LP terminal — the pools list itself looks unchanged. The redesign puts the main pool data at the top, the input fields on the right, and a large price chart on the left, and it previews your liquidity distribution live on the chart as you set it up. In Advanced mode you can shape spot and bid-ask positions directly, and the Combine Position toggle previews how stacked positions will look merged before you deploy. CryptoCroco opens a spot position and stacks a bid-ask on top to show how the new interface removes the mental gymnastics of visualizing where each bin sits.

Introduction: a new DLMM terminal
Welcome to another video about dynamic liquidity market making. In today's video, we want to look at the new DLMM terminal version one that SectorOne and Metropolis have just published. This is a new front end, so it allows you to provide liquidity in a much more intuitive way I find. I tested it this morning, and in this video, I want to share with you my thoughts and share with you a little bit what the functionalities are there and how can it help you, LP, going forward. I'm CryptoCroco, and on this channel, I explore the wonderful world of a DeFi liquidity provider.

The upgrade is inside the pool, not the pools page
Let's get into it. So where I'm here right now is the pools page of SectorOne, and here on the pools page, you do not see any differences yet. So the upgrade that they pushed is really on the LP terminal itself, and you only start seeing that once you go into a pool.
I personally want to adjust my L5 position. I have been out of range, so I removed my liquidity there, and now I want to enter a new position. So I think let's do this together. That way, we can explore the new front-end update as well as see a little bit maybe how I open positions in general. So I go into this 2% fee claiming pool here.
The new layout: chart on the left, inputs on the right
I add liquidity, and you can see here already this looks completely different. So before, I think there was here in the top, there was the liquidity distribution where you had bin shapes, and then below was all the input fields. This is now different. You get main data about the pool up here, and what you also get, you get your input field on the right side and a big, nice chart on the left side.
This already, I think this is much more what I'm used to from centralized exchanges or perps. So this looks way more familiar to me as a user.
Live preview of the position on the chart
Now I want to open my new position, so let me open this. Oh, look at this. So once I start putting liquidity in, this will automatically... Yeah, this is cool. So this will automatically start to show the liquidity position inside the chart. So let me see if I can pull this.
Yes. So what you see right now here on this dotted line, that's the current price, and then you see there's a very wide position. I don't want to open the position like that, so I go into advanced mode, and there I have much more flexibility to shape the position. And here I will not go in as a spot, or let's open a spot position first. I think this could be interesting. So I close this down to the active price, and then let's see. I don't think it will retrace that much, so I might just go like this, open the position. This is very narrow. Maybe I go a bit further down like this. This is the position I want to put, and you can see now already the front end gives me a very nice preview of how my liquidity will look like. This is a spot position.
Yeah, it looks pretty good. I'm going to put here 50% and here actually also just 50% because I want to stack positions in this one.
So let's enable now the token for allocation. Confirming. Okay. And this should be now provide liquidity. Provide. Let's see. Sign, confirm. Let's see how this looks like now.
Okay. So I don't see anything as of now. My liquidity is starting to show down here. Let's see what I'm going to get. I see APR. I see my position. I see the chart.
The last time I tried this looks just slightly-- Ah, look at this. I can see my active position here now in the chart, and if I go down, I also see my liquidity and the kind of fields that I'm used to from before, and I can claim fees directly here. Oh, I still have the crocodile there. No need. So I can still claim the fees down here.
Stacking a second position and previewing the combination
This was cool. Now what I want to do is I want to stack a second position on top, and I want to see how this new front end deals with that. So I'm going to add here ALPHI tokens, and I am going to put here the other amount that I still have. This is 38, like this.
Still keep always some for gas. It's really important.
But I don't want this as a spot. I want this as a bid ask. I need to change or look how it directly shows within the chart. This is really nice. I want to do this like this and add the position exactly on top of the previous one.
Now what I can see, I can see here in the back my old position, and I can see here on top, in a, let's say, darker manner, the new position I would allocate. Now, I see here there's a little toggle I can enable that is Combine Position, and this will now show me how will my position look if I combine both, stack them on top. So I think this is really handy. It gives me idea not just about what is there, but also a real preview of how my position will look after.
Let's allocate now the liquidity like this and let's look afterwards if this preview turns out to be right. So again, I need to enable ALPHI token. Okay, that's done. And now provide liquidity.
Always when you provide liquidity, make sure to double check the gas fees because this can really vary sometimes from minute to minute or second to second. So this is really good. This is less than $0.01. I'll go with that. Okay.
The result: stacked spot and bid position, visualized
And this is my new position, and this looks really accurate. This is really how it was displayed before as well. Really like this new feature.
I see my position down here. I stacked the spot position and a bid position on top. This allows me to scale in already a bit quicker into the token as the price corrects, but still gives me that I allocate more the further the price goes down. And before this was always only seen from right to left, and I had to do mental gymnastics to project that how will this look now on the chart itself. But now I can see this here directly on the chart exactly at which prices each bin is. I personally really like this update. Let me know in the comments below what you think of this update that they pushed. I'm definitely going to play around with this a bit more and open position, close positions and see if this holds up. But right now, this front-end update is really a killer to my mind.

FAQ
What is SectorOne Terminal V1?
Terminal V1 is a redesigned DLMM liquidity-provider front end launched by SectorOne and Metropolis. The upgrade applies to the in-pool LP terminal — the pools list looks the same, but opening a pool now shows the main pool data on top, input fields on the right, and a large price chart on the left.
Where do I see the new terminal?
Only inside a pool. On the SectorOne pools page nothing changes; the new layout and the live chart preview appear once you click into a pool and start adding liquidity.
What does the Combine Position toggle do?
When you stack a second position on top of an existing one, the Combine Position toggle previews how both positions look merged on the chart before you deploy, so you can see the total shape instead of guessing.
Can I still shape spot and bid-ask positions?
Yes. Advanced mode gives full control to shape spot or bid-ask distributions, and the chart previews the distribution live at the exact prices of each bin as you adjust it.
Does the new UI change how fees work?
No. It is a front-end/interface change only. You still earn and claim fees the same way; the familiar position fields and fee-claim controls remain lower on the page.
Is this the same as Meteora on Solana?
No. SectorOne and Metropolis are DLMM DEXs on EVM chains such as Base, which is what DLMM Clan covers. Meteora is a separate DLMM protocol on Solana.
