14. Which LPs Are Printing? | 7-Day Leaderboard

A 7-day DLMM KING leaderboard walkthrough (https://dlmmking.com/): all of the prints in this clip are on Robinhood Chain. CryptoCroco generates lookbacks on three books: THC (new meme, sell up, 240 BPS, over $1,000 in fees), Wrapped ETH/USDG ($7,000, one day, about $300 fees / 4%, tight $2,300-$2,650, 4 BPS), and Cash Cat (first Robinhood meme, DCA buy on the dip). DLMM Clan is an independent DeFi LP education community for EVM chains, distinct from Meteora on Solana.

Summary

DLMM Clan is an independent DeFi liquidity-provider education community for EVM chains, distinct from Meteora, which is a DLMM protocol on Solana. In this walkthrough, CryptoCroco filters the DLMM KING leaderboard (https://dlmmking.com/) to the past seven days. Every top print in the clip is on Robinhood Chain: memes and blue chips running, stocks quieter, with rows above $2,000, about $300, and $176. He generates lookbacks on three books. THC is a new meme: buy early, sell up, more than $1,000 in fees at 240 BPS. Wrapped ETH/USDG is $7,000, one day old, about $300 of fees (4%) in a tight $2,300-$2,650 range at 4 BPS, then a reshape that cut IL to about $24 negative. Cash Cat, called the first meme on Robinhood, is a four-day DCA buy on the dip with about $5 of fees as the main PnL. The through-line: pick a thesis before you copy a shape, and sit on the market-maker side so you earn fees instead of paying them.

Intro: who is printing on Robinhood

What are the most profitable liquidity providers on Robinhood doing right now? In today's video, I'm going to look at exactly that. Going to filter the leaderboard for the past seven days, pick three positions I find interesting, and then we're going to look step by step into their positions that they're running, see how they rebalanced, see how they got to the profits that they have made.

The 7-day leaderboard on DLMM KING

So for this, I'm on DLMM KING, and I filter up here for the past seven days. And there I can see which positions have been making the most money. So the first position is over 2,000 dollars, 300 dollars, 176 dollars in seven days. And there's two things I can see here directly. So even in the top positions, you can see the meme coin, THC, making the highest gains for users. But there's even just blue chip pairs like Ethereum against USDG, just a normal Ethereum pair. And also stocks are even in here, but way less. So it seems so that you either have memes or blue chips, which are running really well on Robinhood right now. Also, you can see that all of the positions are on Robinhood. This is just where the fee revenue is right now. Now, in order to look at the positions, I'm going to go in here. I can see this is the THC position, and I'm going to click here and generate a look back to see what did this position do, and then we analyze this together so we can learn from him how to make the same gains in just one week.

THC: buy early, sell up, earn fees

There we go. That's the position. So he started out already with quite some liquidity. I think at the start, if I saw it correctly, it was like already a couple of thousands. And the chart, if I see the chart, how it's moving, this is a newly launched token on Robinhood, so this is the classic meme play. You buy a token very early, and then you sell it on the way up. So this strategy is combining two things. He's earning fees, and the second is he wants to sell THC to the upside. It's always good if you LP to have combining thesis. So either you want to sell a token, you want to buy a token, or if you're really on for the fee revenue, then you're holding tight a certain range and monitoring this closely for the fee revenue. So these are mainly always the most three strategies, and this strategy is he's bought the token very early, and then he's selling it to the upside while he's earning fees. Now I want to just take a look quickly a little bit slower to see the beginning there.

Yes, there you can see just from the start, the position was there. So the whole way up, he gets to collect fees. It's a huge amount of fees, more than 1,000 dollars in fees, because these jumps, this is a big pool, 240 BPS. That means 2.4% from one bin to the next goes up. These are huge swings you can see here. And this is a valid strategy. You get to get in early on a meme token, and then you trade it upwards as you sell it. That was THC, and now let's get to the next one.

Wrapped ETH / USDG: tight range, one-day fees

I think another position I find very interesting is Wrapped ETH against USDG here. It's a position with 7,000 in liquidity, but it's only one day old, so it's really, really fresh. And it already, with this liquidity, managed to make 4% yield in fees, so 300 dollars in fees. That is a very, very high. If you would calculate this up to APR, you can take these numbers times 365 for the year. So this is a huge APR number. We're talking 300 dollars in one day for a blue chip pair. So I'm going to take a look at this now more closely. How's the position set up?

This is a super tight range. It's just from 2,300 to 2,650, so that's a very tight range on Wrapped ETH against USDG. Let's see this position as well. Let's still go for 15 minutes here because it's so young. I want to see more what is actually happening.

And there you go.

Yes, so I think this shows very nicely the strategy of this wallet. It has been swing trading a little bit. So it's swing trading back and forth, this little spike up and the spike down. So it made up some trading profit, else it would be more minus right now because it traded up and traded down again. But overall, the big revenue comes from its fees. So this wallet, I would say, is combining two things. First of all, it is choosing a tight range and going for fee revenue. And then second of all, it is rebalancing its shape to get some trading profits on top where it sees a clear chance to do this.

These kind of positions always need to be very closely monitored because it is a tight range. As soon as the price really goes out, and you can encounter more impermanent loss unless you have a high conviction that the price will come into that area again, then you're obviously impermanent loss-free. I want to look at this one more a bit slower. Let's take a look maybe at 0.5 speed, half the speed, play it up.

Okay, so here you can see it's a very nice position, wide set up, and then it's very stable, just collecting fees, fees, fees. You can see all the fees collecting. Now, I think something, if I remember correct, something is happening in the repositioning of this trade. He's trading this. Here you see. So he changed the position upwards and now is buying more to the downward side. This way, he has minimized his trading losses or his impermanent loss, and now he just sits at 24 dollars negative. This would have been higher probably if he just kept the position as is. Really interesting. So this position, clear strategy is tight range, small BPS for 4 BPS, so that's very, very tight, and there's huge volume going through this pool, generating this kind of rewards. I'm going to download this one. I think it's a nice example of how you can hold a tight range and swing trade. Here's another Ponds position. Let me see this one.

I think this is even my own position. So I think there's one more that I'd like to look at more closely, and that is Cash Cat.

Cash Cat: DCA in while earning fees

Cash Cat, why do I want to look at Cash Cat? So Cash Cat is the first meme on Robinhood. So if you want to trade memes, this is one of the larger memes where it makes sense to have higher conviction that if the token goes down, that it will come back to its current price. Now, looking at the price chart, you can see this position is buying in to the token as the price corrects down in this region and collecting fees. And this is, I think, also a very valid strategy. So the first one we had with THC, it was buying early, selling to the upside, so it was combining fee revenue with the thesis of wanting to sell the token, then this to the upside. Then the second one was a clear swing trade and holding a tight range for fee revenue. And this is now a clear position where the wallet is buying into the token. So it is dollar cost averaging into the token while collecting fees. And you can see the fees are pretty good, 5 dollars, and that helps with the overall net P&L is mainly coming from the fees.

I'm also going to generate it here, and we can take a look. It's, again, a very young positions, four days. Going to take an hourly chart, I think, or a 15 minutes chart, then it's just a bit more happening. Let's do this.

There we go. Yes, so this position is clearly buying the token, into the token as it corrects down and is collecting fees on the way. And this way, it just gets a better entry overall compared to dollar cost averaging over time. Yes, so this wallet is combining the thesis, "I want to buy the token, I want to dollar cost average in and earn fees while I do it." This is really the benefit of using DLMM. You are going on the side of the market maker, not the trader. That means you are earning all the fees, you're not paying them, and you are always anticipating the market with your thesis, and you're not running behind the market. It really forces you to be strategic with your positioning, and it forces to plan ahead and set your strategies ahead of time and not running behind price action.

FAQ

How do you find the most profitable LPs on DLMM KING this week?

Open the leaderboard at https://dlmmking.com/ and filter to the past seven days. In this recording the top rows showed more than $2,000, then about $300, then $176, and every position on that board was on Robinhood Chain. Memes (THC) and blue chips (ETH/USDG) were printing; stocks were quieter.

What three LP theses does this video use?

Sell a token, buy a token, or hold a tight range and monitor it for fee revenue. THC stacked sell-up plus fees. Wrapped ETH/USDG stacked a tight fee range plus swing rebalances. Cash Cat stacked a DCA buy plus fees.

What did the THC lookback show?

A newly launched Robinhood meme. The wallet started with a few thousand of liquidity, bought early, and sold into the upside while earning fees. The pool was 240 BPS (2.4% per bin), with huge swings, and more than $1,000 in fees in the clip.

How did the Wrapped ETH/USDG book make about $300 in one day?

About $7,000 of liquidity, one day old, 4% fee yield (~$300). The range was $2,300 to $2,650 on 15-minute candles. Most PnL was fees; some came from swinging a spike up and down. A later reshape (shift up, more buy-side down) cut IL; the book sat about $24 negative after that. The pool was 4 BPS with huge volume, so it needs close monitoring if price leaves the range.

Why look at Cash Cat?

CryptoCroco calls it the first meme on Robinhood, large enough for a dip-buy conviction. The four-day book bought as price corrected and collected about $5 in fees, which drove most of the net PnL. Versus taking DCA as a trader, you earn the fees and place the thesis ahead of the tape.

Is this the same as DLMM on Meteora (Solana)?

No. DLMM Clan covers DLMM liquidity provision on EVM chains such as Base and the Robinhood Chain. DLMM KING sits on SectorOne contracts. Meteora is a separate DLMM protocol on Solana.
